The Heather Shield takes inspiration from triangular shields popular between the XII and XV centuries. Traditionally made of plywood or heavier steel, these shields were designed to give warriors both protection and offensive capability in battle.

Our version is crafted from thick wood, reinforced with canvas and durable leather edging for maximum durability. Weighing 3.5 kg, it offers superior defense while allowing you to strike opponents with the shield effectively.

Measuring 60 cm x 75 cm, the Heather Shield combines historical authenticity with practical combat functionality. The back is equipped with soft leather straps for secure fastening, making it comfortable and reliable for buhurts, duels, and HMB competitions.
