Description
The Italian Cuirass is a beautifully crafted piece of plate armor inspired by the design styles of northern Italy during the late Medieval to Renaissance periods (14th‑to‑16th centuries). Fashioned from steel, this cuirass consists of a front breastplate and backplate, shaped to contour the torso, providing substantial protection for chest, back, and flanks. The design often includes rolled or flanged edges around critical points (neck, arms) to reinforce strength and reduce stress from impacts.
